Peanut Butter & Ice Cream Lovers Rejoice

This is a peanut butter milkshake.  Introduce yourself.  You are about to fall in love.  Any lactose intolerant better step away from the computer now.

I’ve been an admirer of the peanut butter milkshake for quite a few years now.  It’s not something I regularly indulge in as it probably has about 25,000 calories but I did recently and decided I had to share.  I asked my mom how she started making these, because when I lived at home, on a rare occasion we’d make these babies.  She said my brother used to go to this breakfast joint that served them and he’d order them.  Needless to say, he fell in love (like most do) and asked my mom to make them for him.  Luckily, I got to try them too.

There isn’t an exact recipe because it all depends on how peanut buttery you like them or how thick you enjoy a milkshake but I ask you to try and experiment with it.  You will not be disappointed.

Peanut Butter Milkshake

Peanut Butter, creamy or chunky (I enjoy both!)
Milk, I used 1%
Vanilla Ice Cream, I used low fat (look at me trying to make this healthier – HA!)

Combine all ingredients in a blender.  Add more of each to get the consistency and flavor you like.  Enjoy!

What is your favorite milkshake? 
Mine is definitely peanut butter but I also enjoy a plain ol’ vanilla.

Chocolate and peanut butter AND banana in the same milkshake. Holy moly its the most delicious thing you’ll ever drink.

Ooh I love peanut butter banana smoothies. Chocolate-Peanut Butter is my fave milkshake!
