Overall Impression:
David & I have recently been interested in trying more saison beers. We’ve tried so many IPA’s & Double IPA’s, that it feels time to move on a bit and broaden our horizon’s. Last brew review I tried Victory’s Helios, which we were both fans of. David even bought it again last week. While he was picking out a beer at Whole Foods, the guy working recommended Tank 7 to him. When I got home that night, David told me there was a present in the fridge. I was happy to find Tank 7, since Tiff had recommended it in a previous brew review.

This beer is amazing! David and I think it’s almost magical. It is soooo good. The bottle was gone so fast between the two of us, and we were both sad to see it gone. At $10 a bottle, it’s probably not something we’ll buy all the time, but it’ll definitely be our new celebration beer. I really think that even if you think you’re not a fan of saison’s, that you’ll find this beer to be excellent. It’s really not too sour at all. It’s just so smooth and easy to drink. It’s almost a dangerous beer because there isn’t any hint of alcohol in it (a little when it warms up).

Do yourself a favor and try this beer, I really don’t think you’ll be sorry.

This is funny. When you posted the picture on twitter of what you were drinking, I saw a guy wearing a shirt with Tank 7 on the back! I think that’s a sign. . .

Now you got me curious and thirsty. lol. Next time I’m at WF, I will hunt this one down 🙂

No way, a Boulevard brew? I’m a Midwest girl originally, and often lament the fact that I can’t find Boulevard Wheat out here. It was our “fancy” beer in college when we could afford something nicer than Keystone Light 🙂

Not sure if they have that one at Whole Foods, but they seem to have a few different kinds of their beers. I’d check it out if I were you! 🙂

Annnnd now I’m thirsty. We have pretty similar tastes in beer, and if you are calling this magical, I need to try it!

Side note – let’s start a beer exchange. Forget Foodie PenPals, this should be a thing.

A beer exchange sounds like a pretty awesome idea. Not sure how easy it is to ship beer though. Do you know?
