How’d you spend your Halloween? Not sure why, but in these photos it almost looks sunny out. It wasn’t, it was definitely raining cats and dogs. David was in class until 8, so I went to my parents house for dinner which included this tasty brew and homemade Kelli’s Chili. Twas a nice night. You don’t eat dark chocolate reeses with your beer? You should probably try it.
This beer was lighter in appearance than I expected, but I guess I didn’t have anything to base it off of. I thought the beer was a little sour and slightly bitter. It wasn’t what I was expecting. I couldn’t taste any spices which I thought was a tad unfortunate. One of the spices was nutmeg, which my mom hates, and she actually really liked this beer. I’d definitely have another one if offered this season. I’d probably even buy a six pack of it next Halloween. I mean, you can’t really get a more appropriate beer on Halloween than one called Witch Hunt. It’s worth it for the novelty alone! While Witch Hunt isn’t one of my new favorite beers, I was happy to taste a new one. Bridgeport always provides drinkable and affordable craft beer, and I really appreciate that!
