Appearance: Deep gold, clear, small head retention, great lacing.
Body & Texture: Smooth, little bite, light-medium bodied. Not overly carbonated but just enough.
Aftertaste: Clean light bitterness, slight malt flavor, and a little pine.
Overall Impression:
This is the ultimate summer beer. Cans make it easy to bring along to the pool, river, beach, lake, camping, anywhere you can think of! No need to look down on the can, cans can help keep beer fresh by not allowing any light to touch the beer. One of the best aspects of Bitter American is its low abv, making it a perfect session beer. Your six pack of Bitter American most likely won't last long. David calls it his "studying" beer, because it's light enough for him to drink while doing his calculus homework. Bitter American quickly became one of mine and David's favorite beers this summer. I definitely recommend it!
Definitely the perfect study beer. And the perfect session beer! It's great being able to drink a full flavored beer and not have to worry about getting tipsy after just one. I'm extremely happy we found this beer because it is the perfect summer/ study beer and I plan on drinking it all summer long! Highly recommend!

ReplyDeleteIt's not that hoppy! It's more of an American Pale Ale. Try it! It's really good and light, I think. :)

ReplyDeleteCanned beer makes me nostalgic for my childhood. My godmother would drink MGD like it was going out of style, always in a can, always with a beer cozy. :)
