Overall Impression:
Definitely worth the $3.99! This is the 2nd time I’ve picked up a Ninkasi Brewing Co. beer and I’ve been happy both times. My first Ninkasi review can be found here. I’m always drawn to 22’s that are priced between $3.99-$5.99, so Ninkasi is making me happy! It’s very drinkable with a bit of character. I’m not usually a huge fan of Double Red Ales, especially Lagunitas Imperial Red, which happens to be David’s favorite beer as of late. So, I found Ninkasi’s to be much more drinkable for me. Although, it’s very good, it doesn’t leave a big impression. For the price I’d buy it again and definitely recommend it to any beer lover. I think it’s probably better enjoyed in the fall of during the night rather than a warm day in the sun like I enjoyed it. Overall, I’m a fan!

P.S.

I thought I should share the truth with all of you. It may seem like I drink a ton of beer, which maybe to some I do, but in reality, when I’m reviewing a 22 oz beer it is always shared with my partner in crime (David), and my serving is that glass right thur! So, I’m not some huge lush, ya hur.
