Kale Chips

I’ve made kale chips in the past. Probably back in 2010, but I wasn’t that impressed back then. I recently made kale chips again and fell in love with them! David loves them, too! They’re quickly becoming a favorite snack of ours. Best part is we don’t feel any guilt over sharing a huge plate of them. I mean, it’s kale, which is healthy! win win!

If you’ve never tried out kale chips, I really recommend it!

Kath’s method is super easy. All you need in a bag of kale, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Tear kale into bite-sized pieces. Wash in a salad spinner and dry.
3. In a large bowl, mix about 2 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon olive oil on leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Spread onto 1 or 2 baking sheets, and bake for 15 minutes. Serve.

Yep, I love kale chips. Such an easy way to eat a whole lotta greens at once!

I wonder if I could get MY husband to eat these. He does love chips, but this might be a stretch. I bet I would love them though.

I have yet to make them successfully in the oven, but need to try again soon! The dehydrator makes some delicious ones, too, though 🙂
